The New Kia Rio – Bigger, Prettier and Smarter

Five years later South Korea’s automobile manufacturer Kia presents the 4th generation of Kia Rio hatchback. Its predecessor proved to be the best-selling model worldwide, and looks like the company has the same plans on the next one. To brighten up the anticipation for the official premiere at the Paris Motor show the automaker allowed us to take a look at the photos of all-new supermini. So, what do we learn from these?

The first thing you should consider is the size. The Rio seems to be larger but still in the bounds of being a cute little car. It grew in length and width (plus 15 and 5 mm respectively); the height, on the contrary, decreased by 5 mm. The hatchback got thinner and shorter “tiger nose” grille and modified U-shaped headlights.

On the inside there is a new steering wheel and modern dashboard with supplemented ‘floating’ touchscreen infotainment system.

Obviously, all other details such as price, type of engine and the like will be revealed in the end of September 2016. As for now, these few photos certainly piqued car lovers’ interest. It appears that Kia’s new Rio is going to “rise out of Asia” with a huge success.
