Matt LeBlanc leaving Top Gear?
US actor Matt LeBlanc, known for his role in the television series "Friends", may leave the post of the Top Gear TV show cohost. According to The Sun, the reason was a quarrel with his colleague Chris Evans. LeBlanc said he would not appear in the popular tv show if Evans remained in it.
"The atmosphere between the hosts is very cold. Matt has made it clear that he can stop shooting at any moment, if Chris is still one of the hosts. And he is not the only one who is not happy to work with Chris", - said a source familiar with the situation.
As a reminder, BBC has just recently aired the first episode of the Top Gear TV show after the three hosts including Jeremy Clarkson quitted it. The program has already joked about the incident which made Clarkson leave the show. The first episode of Top Gear after Jeremy Clarkson's expulsion was hosted by Chris Evans and Matt LeBlanc telling stories about Dodge Viper and Ariel Nomad.
As to the former Top Gear's hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, they are currently busy working on the new car program. The show will be broadcasted on the Internet through a paid service Amazon Prime. The contract was signed by former Top Gear TV presenters with Amazon web service at the end of July 2015. Three seasons of a new television show will be shot under the terms of the agreement. First season shooting will begin in the short run. The broadcastisng is planned for the first quarter of 2016.
