Jeep Renegade video review

The capable, affordable and adorable Jeep Renegade is the adequate response to rapidly growing subcompact crossover segment. Although Jeep already has two subcompact SUVs in its lineup (Patriot and Compass) Renegade is slightly smaller and significantly more refined than both of them.

Inches of ground clearance (i.e. 7.9 inches in Latitude Edition and 8.7 inches in Trailhawk Edition) makes this car a better choice for both on and off road driving. In addition, Renegade has 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine, the one needed for an automatic transmission. The standard engine is a turbo charged 1.4-liter with a stick. If you cannot drive a clutch or just don’t want the turbo engine, get the upgrade to 2.4-liter that is ready to give out 180 horsepower and 175 pound feet of torque.

When it comes to its interior, it has pretty good seats, soft armrest with some cup holders on the backseats, and good visibility. Also it has good amount of storage and trunk space.

Therefore, Jeep Renegade is a good car for the young people who like taking off to the mountains but still want a car that drives in the city pretty well. It is bright, powerful enough, and it has some cool accents.
