The successor to the 458 Italia continues to impress, this time making the ‘Best of the Best’ shortlist in Red Dot’s Product Design Award, which selects the best recently released products from numerous different technological fields.

The 488 has already been named Robb Reports’s 2016 Car of the Year, with Editor-in-Chief Brett Anderson citing ‘it’s the beauty of the car which you can see’, which we find hard to argue against. The car’s contours and mid-engine design work together harmoniously. Oh, and let’s not forget that racing red.

But then again, with a top speed of 205 miles per hour and a retail price of US$245,000, it’d be a crime if it weren’t beautiful.
