Acura ILX video review

Acura is known to be a luxury brand of Japanese automaker Honda. This video takes a look at the 2017 Acura ILX – the most current version before the new Civic platform based one.

Both interior and exterior share the same features – comfort and simplicity performed with great quality. The whole sedan shape, without unnecessary angles and bulges, doesn’t oversimplify the car whatsoever while the restrained interior convinces you to relax and have a safe trip.

The car comes with 2.4-litre V4 allied to the 8-speed dual clutch gearbox. Needless to say, this one requires a premium gas but simultaneously saves adequate 29 mpg. Kick over the engine, and you’ll get a peak output of 201 horsepower and 180 pound-feet of torque. Moreover, Acura ILX gives promising handling and comfort suspension that make up for the common tendency of all front-wheel drive vehicles to understeer.

Four available packages contribute to the driving and infotainment systems; each of them comes with their own goodies. For instance, the ILX from the video has The Tech Plus Package that boasts sophisticated voice recognition, advanced smartphone integration and the like.

Overall, 2017 Acura is still considered reliable and solid but we are definitely looking forward to witnessing the launch of an updated ILX model.
